Council of the Ophani Decree

By the power vested in me as the Astra Regens of the Celestial Order of Astoria, I, Unike, hereby issue the following Divine Decree:



There may come a time when a member of Astoria has become invaluable to the region, yet no government position is available, or they have chosen not to assume one.



Recognizing the necessity of retaining both their presence and wisdom,


1. There shall be the Council of the Ophani, made up of at most two angels of Astoria, who shall bear the title of Ophanim.


1. The Ophani are to be directly appointed by the Archkeeper, and shall serve at their will. The Archkeeper may appoint anywhere from zero to two Ophani, and can dismiss them at will.

2. In addition to this, the Ophani may resign at any time, should they wish.

3. The Astra Deus shall also have the power to dismiss the Ophani.

4. The Ophani shall be automatically dismissed at the end of each term. They must be reappointed and retake their oaths should the Archkeeper choose so.



1. The Ophani shall serve a purely advisory role to the Celestium, being able to lend ideas, provide help, and anything else the Archkeeper desires of them.

2. The Ophani can be granted a Regional Officer position with Communications granted as determined by the Astra Deus.

Article IV: Succession

1. The Ophani shall not be anywhere on the Archkeeper line of succession and shall not be considered Keepers for the purposes of legislation, but rather, a separate advisory role.

Let it be known that this Divine Decree, issued under the authority vested in me as the Astra Regens of the Celestial Order of Astoria, shall be deemed effective forthwith. All esteemed angels and concerned parties are hereby mandated to adhere to and abide by the provisions set forth herein.
