 The High Table: By Astorians, for Astorians
The High Table was originally founded in the 4th of July, 2023 by me, Omnicontrol, and two-times Speaker of Astoria Sateru as a gambling organization in the Astorian economy: and The High Table continues to live on as an organization for the leaderboard toppers even four months after. Shortly after its creation, first elected WA Delegate Koronic and one of the four founding members of Astoria, Catgirlboss , joined the Table: fellow member of the plutocracy New Shadow Imperium joined a few weeks after, and in the first of November, Rosartemis was added to the organization. In December of 2023, Archangel Shadow joined the Table.
Our roster is made and led by the most experienced Astorians: all three (excluding Astoreus) founding members of the region (Omnicontrol, Catgirlboss, and Koronic) are part of it, as well as highly decorated army leader Rosa, and early settlers Sateru and NSI.
Our departments are such: - Department of Departmentality (Chairwoman): currently Catgirlboss
- Department of Couping Astoria (PM): currently Rosartemis
- Department of Explaining Very Ethical Actions (FA): currently Crown Prince Omni
- Department of Doing Very Ethical Actions (IA): currently Catgirlboss
- Department of Not Voting Fraud At All (WA):
- Department of Reckless Gambling and DUIs (Culture): currently Unike
- Department of Shouting At Assemblies (Speaker): currently Sateru
- Department of Sending People to Jail (Justice): currently Archangel Shadow

I am immensely proud to announce that, in light of the Chief Justice elections, the High Table expands! Welcome Archangel Shadow, who is definitely not a skilled NS money launderer and won't coup Astoria, just like the rest of this table. Ahem-

Don't worry, we're just winning.
A lot has transpired since the last elections. I'll just round it up. - Omni made Chairman of the High Table.
- Department of Old Ass Retirees (Ophanim) created.
- Department of the Objective Truth (Chronicum) created.
And last but not least... The High Table will be running alongside the Pengi Party these elections!
Say hello to the High Ass Penguins, a coalition between crack cocaine and these cute fluffy animals to rule Astoria with a corrupt fair and gentle hand and commit massive amounts of fraud take it to glory! (THIS POST HAS BEEN FACTCHECKED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF THE OBJECTIVE TRUTH) Our coalition members took the name very well, as can be seen by these screenshots full of very serious and professional discourse:
Furthermore, this coalition sports a teeny tiny number of TWENTY FUCKING ONE MEMBERS, all of them experts at either sliding on snow, or having their noses slide on it. We'd also like to thank the Europeian Republic's statement on the espionage on their treaty allies The Rejected Realms, the latest The North Star edition, and basically anything defenderdom's FA has done in the past year for providing free entertainment to all of us, as tax fraud can only be done in certain periods of the year, and we were starting to get bored.
